  "Our love for each other will live on forever in every bit of my proud corazón!" We are nearing Halloween which means we are ALSO nearing Dia de los Muertos! Sad thing is, none of our members celebrate it lol. I kinda wanted to see some ofrendas but I totally understand   Hna Nicholson and I did see an ofrenda for cats   that counts I guess. Been in the mood to watch Coco so to someone back home, go watch Coco for me  I feel like not a lot happened but at the same time, a lot did happen so. Missionary life is strange.  Last Monday durning FTB hours, hna. Nicholson and I turned on the gospel stream radio and "Story of my life" the piano guys version was playing. Rip. Which was then followed by Brett Young which honestly did not feel like it should have been on the gospel stream app. The song was good and uplifting but all I could think about while listening was "in case you didnt know" Twas a week of firsts...I was brought to english-land for the firs...

 "But theres nothing to be afraid of, even when the night changes" Lets see... what happened this week... We had Elder Hamilton from the 70 come out this past week! Mama, hes apparently the family history specialist or something like that! We learned how best to use family history in our contacting with people on the streets! I'm not exactly sure how well that will work for me but I'm down to try! Elder Hamilton was our speaker for zone conference so that was fun!  In the middle of zone conference, Elder Hamilton decided he wanted to show us a clip from Indiana Jones   welp, it was on youtube and you know how youtube LOVES to give you ads... well we didnt watch the first one because he connected his iPad after it played but we got an awesome "dad bod" ad after the movie clip played. He definitely had everyones attention there in the room! Sweet sister Hendrickson was dying on the stage when that ad popped up  After zone conference on Friday, Sister Hendricks...

  "Forgive my northern attitude, oh I was raised out in the cold"  Something about being here in SoCal makes me miss Utah mountains so bad. I wish I was back home driving the winding mountin roads with Anna in the passenger seat and Emmalee in the back seat, blasting Noah Kahan and screaming the lyrics at the tops of our lungs... but now I am in California where I get to stare at the mountains in the distance, which, half of the time, are completely covered by smoke so I dont even get to see them, and where its still hot. I keep looking at Utahs weather and honestly wish I was back. I did look at the weather this morning though and saw snow on Friday, so I will enjoy my mid 70s that day  We ended up in Riverside quite a bit this past week. Hna. Nicholson had a chiropractor appointment, Sis. Jewell had to go to the gran to have one of the office Elders check her foot, and then we got stuck at the doctors, again for sis.   "Its the one that ive tried to write over and over again" Hey yall! I hope your week has been amazing! My week has definitely been a week! We had transfers last Tuesday and oh man since then, it's honestly gone down hill... this week dragged on so long.  I really don't have much to say this week so it's gonna be a short email this week lol.  I had my first baptism! Yesterday, our sweet friend Kenia made the choice to be baptized and the baptism was beautiful! It made me so happy that she made the choice to get baptized!  We got to watch conference with the cute Villalobos family yesterday and Hna. Villalobos had us all make a guess as to how many temples were going to be announced. She said that the winner got a taco party. I think she secretly knew because she guessed 17 and was the only one to guess 17... sooo... she definitely knew.
