"No habrá manera, mi rayo de luna, que tú te vallas." Guau! An email antes mediodia? Ijole! You must think I'm crazy! Maybe i am... The past couple weeks, we have been having CRAZY wind storms which leads to power outages, lots of palm leaves in the street, tumbleweeds blown into bushes on the sides of the roads, and quite a few totaled vehichles from people not knowing how to stop at stop lights/stop signs. (Luckily, my car is not one of them)  It's also January so literally EVERYONE is sick which has honestly sucked because we had so many lessons planned this week and not even half of them happened because everyone kept canceling.  I have never had to do so many splits in a week. We pretty much did splits every single day this week. It was crazy. Our poor hna Larsen has had these crazy migraines for 2ish weeks or longer but they still schedule lessons so if we dont have lessons for the night, we get to go to Ontario West and teach some lessons with hna Vergara!  ...

As the world comes to an end, i'll be there to hold your hand (semana 28)

"Cuz you're a king and I'm your lionheart"   This week was a crazy busy week! Looking back at it, there was only 1 day we did NOT leave the zone     whoops. We spent almost everyday in Riverside or Ontario West between Zone conference and STL exchanges.  We were supposed have DCM on Tuesday but because we dont live with elders, no one told the sisters so we showed up but no one else showed...   our District Leader finally texted and said no DCM so that was fun.  We did a skills conference for zone conference this transfer and it was so fun! We had 6 rotations and we went around the trainings with our zone! This transfer we have been focusing on memeber work and keeping the memebers involved so our zone conference was centered around figuring out ways to get our members involved! Our zone leaders were in one of the rotations and their training was my one of my favorites. I have to say that Sister Hendricksons rotation was my favorite th...

"Ive been for a walk on a winters day. I'd be safe and warm if i was in LA" .... California dreaming on such a winter day Sorry, we deal with humor here...  Saturday morning, as I was getting ready for the day, I turned on a couple conference talks and one of the talks that I listened to was "take up your cross" given by Élder Ulisses Soares in Ocober 2019. I would like to challenge yall to read this talk and send me an email of what yall liked! Por favor  One of my favorite parts of this talk says. "as we continually strive to overcome our challenges, God will bless us with the gifts of faith to be healed and of the working of miracles. He will do for us what we are not capable of doing for ourselves." Although it may be a challenge to take upon us our cross, God knows we can do it! We have some amazing cheerleaders on the side helping us carry our cross. I think of Ephraims rescue when the angels are shown pushing the handcart while the pioneers are...

"I am learning to be patient, and you are really there..."  Im alive! Dont you even worry! We moved PDay this week to Wednesday because we got to go to the temple this morning so Monday had to be a normal working day...  Anyways...Wow! 6 months as a missionary today! 184 days. That really doesnt seem like a long time but it definitely has felt like a long time.  I would love to share some of the things I have learned in these past 6 months... People are amazing! We talk to SO MANY people every single day!! Sure you get way too many people who say "were not interested" or "get off my property, you dont belong here" but then we get others who are genuinely interested and want to learn more! I have never had to rely on the Spirit more heavily in my life than I have in the past 6 months!  I have finally found the importance of daily studies! We have the opportunity to take 1 hour of personal study. It normally ends up being our 9-10 hour which starts out our...
