En esta casa, no existen fantasmas
"Son puros recuerdos, de tiempos ajenos, de buenos momentos"
Its officially my last week in Mexico.... But like humbe says, "They are pure memories, from times long gone, of good times". I will be back up in the heat, the dry, and the busy of the city in 1 week. But hopefully i will actually be able to listen to music other than hymns
i love hymns! Dont get me wrong. Theyre just a little repetitive when that is the only thing you can listen to.
And for those who havent caught on yet, my email titles are song lyrics from one of the songs on my song list... thought id make that clear since i kinda use lyrics that might not make the most sense
ill also keep this email short...
It is so crazy to think i have been in mexico for just shy of a month and have to leave so soon
no me quiero salir! But i am excited to get back up into the states where i can explore the area a lot better. Sadly the only time i get to see mexico city is when we go to the temple or when i am brushing my teeth and watching the cars drive up one visble street from our apartment.
I have been watching the weather of Riverside while being here, and boy am i NOT ready for 100 degree temps
after being content with an average 66 degrees, that will quite literally be tourture.
My Spanglish has just grown while being down here and i am really good about thinking about words in spanish and then it taking me like 5 trys to actually say it in english so... its great
Before I left, my mom joked with me that while being on my mission, she wanted me to find a composer that i could marry so i could listen to them play the piano all day... well ill joke and say i found my composer! I was studying yesterday morning in front of the tienda to be close to the infermaria to ask for a different knee sleeve or brace but when i went inside the building opposite the tienda, i saw some guy sitting at the piano playing interstellar. I was in awe so i went back outside to get my comp so we could do personal study while listening to him play the piano. Bro is crazy! I listened to him play like 3 or 4 other hans zimmer songs but only recorded parts of 2
i wish i was smart enough to bring sheet music. But yeah... i guess we could say i "found my composer" and hes from Tennessee AND taller than me. Bro is bomb at basketball AND volleyball... What more could i ask for?

Romans 8:38-39
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
