How come all the best things fall apart

This past week for me was great? I don't know... I'm really bad about feeling feelings. I will apologize in advance as my thoughts are all over the place. So be grateful that I can compose half comprehensible sentences. 

Last Monday, I got it approved from the Pres to go buy an acoustic guitar today so hopefully we can find the time to do that! I have been playing my comps guitar but, come time for transfers, I may not be with her and won't, for sure, have a guitar to play to fill my time. 

Tacos, tacos, and MORE tacos! Am I complaining? Absolutely not! We have had street tacos almost every single night and I love them! One of the families we ate with had something close to like a taco bar... they had like 4 different meats, 6 sauces, so many toppings, 2 different rices... oh man. I could have ate so many tacos but we had a late lunch that day so I think I only had 4. The bambasos always are a hit too! 

This past week, my comp and I kept working on clearing the area book, we had about 52 yellow dots when we got here, and half of them should have been made gray dots because when we try to reach out to them, we cant, because were ️ blocked ️ We have gotten the list of 52 down to about 23 now... so... our amigos are a bit toxic. It's a one way friendship we've got going on.  

We had our first DCM this week and I learned my District Leader is from Green River, WY! How crazy is that! He heard Flaming Gorge and on our district call later that night he goes "wow did you know that the Flaming Gorge goes right through my town?" And so I told him that I live like an hour and a half away from Green River and he thought that was pretty cool. I am a bit jealous of him though. He got to do seminary with Brother Asay... its okay... I had Tameka  

Padre... what's that one song you like that goes "We are clay, in his hands. Centered on the wheel...creating something beautiful. All we can become is something shaped by the master, that's where his strongest work is done." 

My comp and I have been listening to the radio on our fun ️ gospel stream ️ app and that was one of the songs we listened to. It made me miss you and mom. 

Not a lot happened this week. At least nothing that is sticking with me. I've been surviving on Peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches and grilled cheeses for lunches. It's great. Just going back to my roots. Hopefully the pb&j is getting used at the house! Coco isn't there to have her daily peanut butter sandwich for work.  dang it. 

One of our families we ate dinner with gave me a bunch of peanut butter before we left... so I'm set for a little bit. Unless sister Lewis keeps eating my peanut butter... that's the GREAT thing about living in a house full of girls. If they see something they want, they'll take it. You have to hide your snacks you don't want them taking  it's a whole different story if you purchased the snacks together. But if it comes from your pocket, they don't really care lol

There are so many dogs! Like I swear, everyone here either has a dog, cat, goat, or horse! It's kind of funny. I do feel so bad for these animals though. It is so hot out here! And the temps are going back to the 100s this week  send help. 

I think my next transfer, I need to ask president for a horse as my mode of transportation... everyone else out here gets around by horse! 

Ooh! Final thing! I saw my first mariachi in person! There was some party going on last night and they were getting ready to perform. It was kinda fun
