I found a reason for me, to change who I used to be

"A reason to start over new, and the reason is you"

How often do you listen to a song and actually listen to the lyrics? For me, I feel like im always listening to the lyrics but am I paying attention to what they are really saying? Not really... whoops... you know how many times ive listened to "the reason" by hoobastank in the last year? I could probably count them on 1 hand 😂 but for some reason it got stuck in my head and here we are...sure this may be a love song and the "you" might be about a girl but how about we replace it with "You"

Go look up the lyrics to "the reason" and tell me you cant put yourself as the first person talking to Jesus Christ. (Lo siento to the other missionaries who don't have google atm) We are not perfect people, we have to continue learning, and don't we wish we could take at least some of the pain Christ had to endure while in the garden of Gethsemane? Petition to start playing "the reason" on gospel stream radio... whos signing...

Oh also another cool song that could be interpreted into a conversations with missionaries and God, or someone moving away from home or what they're comfortable with and God is "Home" by Phillip Phillips... "hold on to me as we go, as we roll down this unfamiliar road... Dont pay no mind to the demons, they fill you with fear... If you get lost you can always be found, just know youre not alone, cuz im gonna make this place your home" God knows our limits! He is not going to put us through what he knows we can not handle! We just have to have that faith and lean on Him when we need it!

Anyways. Thats all. Thanks for coming to my ted talk...

Within the past week and a half, I have read multiple conference talks and have found a love for the talks given by Brent H. Nielson! (He unfortunately only has 4 talks) We were challenged to choose a christlike attribute we wanted to work on this transfer and I chose patience...well under the topic of patience was a talk titled "waiting for the prodigal" for those who dont remember the parable of the prodigal son, it is in Luke 15 and I would challenge you to find time to read it sometime this week!

I wish I was a more patient person so I am glad I chose patience to focus on and study this transfer. In some of my studies this week I learned that patience is not the only thing that needs to be worked on. You have to also have faith that being patient and working on patience will help everything work out in the end.

Highlights!!! (Como se dice highlights en español?)
•We had 7/3 new friends this week! That was insane
•Saw a literal pink tesla with barbie wraps and the girls lowkey freaked out about it

•im getting more confident in spanish! Hna. Nicholson has me do more and more first contacts and it is scary at first but i do it so effortlessly now.
•i have found when knocking, you just have to look for christmas lights, lots of plants, and listen for the music to find someone to talk to in spanish. Its awesome! I also love going towards the music
•so many puppies! I love them!!
•the smoke is still here lol. It's great...
•We also did a sisters lunch after ZTM which was fire 🔥
•And we participated in a fear factory challenge where our zone leaders sent out a list of 5 challenges we had to complete in our FTB time. A couple of the challenges included, give a BoM to someone at a red light, pull-over contact, and the bonus one was contact someone in their backyard! Hna. Nicholson and I had it pretty easy. Everyone's backyards are pretty open in the spanish areas... sooo....

La escritora de la semana-

Luke 15:20

20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him

20 Entonces, se levantó y fue a su padre. Y cuando aún estaba lejos, lo vio su padre y fue movido a misericordia, y corrió, y se echó sobre su cuello y le besó

Send me an email! Id love to hear how all yall are doing!
Have the most amazing day! Mostly because I said so but mainly because you want to! 🤟❤️
