Lol I realized this morning just how bad I miss Bensons music. I'm always singing his songs but woke up with Love of Mine stuck in my head and wanted to go play it but realized I could not. Never been so sad πŸ˜‚ (jk)

Lets see. Crazy busy week but it really didnt feel like it. Something is in the air and ALL of our friends kept canceling lessons! It was so frustrating lol. Luckily we had 2 friends that were pretty good about keeping their commitments to meeting at their set time. 

We got so many referrals this week! 2 came in this morning within an hour of each other! That was insane! Most of them are just not interested or dont want to talk to us unfortunately but hey! We still got referrals! 

I didnt have to go to Riverside this week! But I think we're going sometime this week πŸ« πŸ˜‚

Our friend Aldo got baptized yesterday!! That was so fire! πŸ”₯ He even brought a friend to his baptism and the friend was super supportive! That was awesome to see! 

We also had a crazy member meal last night with Obispos family! He was pulling out some of the craziest questions but all 4 of us missionaries could not stop laughing for almos 2 hours straight πŸ˜‚ Elder Duy and Hna Nicholson said that was one of their favorite member meals they have had on their missions. Elder Duy only has a month and a half left and Hna Nicholson has 4 months left so Im going to accept it now that I wont have a member meal as good aa that one πŸ˜‚

We didnt have a dinner on Friday so Hna. Nicholson and I went to a taco tent! Woooo! We LOVE taco tent days! They have the BEST tacos and burritos! 

We had a curfew of 5pm on Halloween so we cleaned the apartment, did our Hallowclean, and I realized the vacuum wasnt picking hardly anything up, sooo, being the daughter of a tinkerer, I pulΔΊed the vacuum apart with a butter knife (because we didnt have any screwdrivers in the house) and realized our belt was snapped soooo... our dreams of having vacuumed stairs went down the drain πŸ«  hopefully we get a new one tomorrow πŸ€ž

Our friends are doing good! We have a cute friend, Deyenhira, who is always just so happy when we come over to teach her! She LOVES talking so we have only taught her like 4 principles. She has come to church with us once and loved it! She always compliments us on our prayers and says that she wants to be able to pray as good as us πŸ˜‚ shes the cutest! 

We told our friend Hallel about priesthood blessings and was able to help her get one yesterday! That was awesome! 




Highlights...
•President Interviews! Found out for sure that Hna. Nicholson and I will be split up this upcoming transfer. He said one will stay in De Anza and the other will leave so... come Saturday...we will know! 
•Had a fire dinner with Obispo
•Bought nilla wafers today and Kings Hawaiian Rolls! 
•November is here! Had my 4th Fast Sunday! 
•Got a "mom hug" from Sister Henderickson
•I keep surprising more and more latinos with being able to speak THEIR language! 
•Had some bomb tacos

  "Started to get along, together.."  Just kidding... my "lemon boy" and I still have not found a way to "get along" (work together). I want something and they want something else.  "And it started pretty slowly..." The song has nothing to do with the email this week... I just wanted to use a Benson Boone song... sooo.... yeah Happy Monday! I hope your week has been great! Send me an email! I'd love to hear about it!  This past week for me was great? I don't know... I'm really bad about feeling feelings. I will apologize in advance as my thoughts are all over the place. So be grateful that I can compose half comprehensible sentences.  Last Monday, I got it approved from the Pres to go buy an acoustic guitar today so hopefully we can find the time to do that! I have been playing my comps guitar but, come time for transfers, I may not be with her and won't, for sure, have a guitar to play to fill my time.  Tacos, tacos, and MORE tacos! Am I complaining? Absolutely not! We have had street tacos almost every single night and I love them! One of the families we ate with had something close to like a taco bar... they had like 4 different meats...

Even when the dark comes crashing through...

  "When you need a friend to carry you, when youre broken on the ground, you will be found"  You will be found from dear evan hansen has been stuck in my head for the past couple days and I'm not sure why... am I complaining? No. Not at all. We all at times need a friend to carry us through the dark times and when we find ourselves broken on the ground. I guess that is the cool thing about missionary work.  God has prepared so many people for me to find and to teach about His Gospel! I get to be the friend to carry them through the dark times and when they are "broken on the ground". I hate being social but I LOVE helping others. One full transfer in and I have already found so many amigos who just need a friend to carry them through their hard times! And to help them find joy in the Gospel and growing their relationship with God!  Hola Tonotos (see attatched picture at the end)... Our barrio had a fiesta on Saturday! It was a culture celebration!
