We had transfers this week! I'm now with Hermana Franklin back in Ontario East! Also... one of my first days back, you'll never guess... Another fire started! Woo! So its been pretty smoky the past couple days.

Let me tell you just how good God is! Being sent back to Ontario East has been such a blessing! Throughout the week, we would interact with some of the members, and every single one of them was super excited to see me back! 

I started my week with some awesome little letters from the primary kids and young women! I was so happy to get some letters! Its nice getting mail! 💕

Hallel, one of our amazing friends, invited us to the Sociedad de Socorro dinner on Saturday and the amount of double takes more of the members had to take to realize I was back in the ward was super funny! 

My recent convert Aldo had only been to church once last transfer because his work schedule was crazy and he had to work every Sunday. We texted him on Saturday and made sure he could come to church, and HE DID!!! It made me so excited to see him! Obispo talked to him about getting the priesthood soon, Hno Rudy pulled him aside to catch up, and all of the members were just super happy to see him! 

My other recent convert Kenia has been almost impossible to get in contact with. The hermanas who were here this last transfer had only had one lesson with her and she wasnt ever home. But on Thursday, Hna Franklin and I decided to stop by and see if she was home and SHE WAS! Her daughter Kate saw us, ran inside and said, "mom, the scripture ladies are here!" And we had an awesome little lesson with Kenia! 

We had zone breakfast with the freemans on Saturday! 

I was going to have to sing in the mission ward for this past Sunday but because we did exchanges, i didnt have to sing in Mission but i did get roped in to singing in De Anza... so that was fun... 

Okay that's all I got this week!

Lemon boy and me...

  "Started to get along, together.."  Just kidding... my "lemon boy" and I still have not found a way to "get along" (work together). I want something and they want something else. How come all the best things fall apart

 "And it started pretty slowly..." The song has nothing to do with the email this week... I just wanted to use a Benson Boone song... sooo.... yeah Happy Monday! I hope your week has been great! Send me an email! I'd love to hear about it!  This past week for me was great? I don't know... I'm really bad about feeling feelings. I will apologize in advance as my thoughts are all over the place. So be grateful that I can compose half comprehensible sentences.  Last Monday, I got it approved from the Pres to go buy an acoustic guitar today so hopefully we can find the time to do that! I have been playing my comps guitar but, come time for transfers, I may not be with her and won't, for sure, have a guitar to play to fill my time.  Tacos, tacos, and MORE tacos! Am I complaining? Absolutely not! We have had street tacos almost every single night and I love them! One of the families we ate with had something close to like a taco bar... they had like 4 different meats...

Even when the dark comes crashing through...

  "When you need a friend to carry you, when youre broken on the ground, you will be found"  You will be found from dear evan hansen has been stuck in my head for the past couple days and I'm not sure why... am I complaining? No. Not at all. We all at times need a friend to carry us through the dark times and when we find ourselves broken on the ground. I guess that is the cool thing about missionary work.  God has prepared so many people for me to find and to teach about His Gospel! I get to be the friend to carry them through the dark times and when they are "broken on the ground". I hate being social but I LOVE helping others. One full transfer in and I have already found so many amigos who just need a friend to carry them through their hard times! And to help them find joy in the Gospel and growing their relationship with God!  Hola Tonotos (see attatched picture at the end)... Our barrio had a fiesta on Saturday! It was a culture celebration!
