Heavenly father, I am greatful for your eternal presence (semana 26)

"I am learning to be patient, and you are really there..."

Im alive! Dont you even worry! We moved PDay this week to Wednesday because we got to go to the temple this morning so Monday had to be a normal working day...

Anyways...Wow! 6 months as a missionary today! 184 days. That really doesnt seem like a long time but it definitely has felt like a long time.

I would love to share some of the things I have learned in these past 6 months...

People are amazing! We talk to SO MANY people every single day!! Sure you get way too many people who say "were not interested" or "get off my property, you dont belong here" but then we get others who are genuinely interested and want to learn more! I have never had to rely on the Spirit more heavily in my life than I have in the past 6 months!

I have finally found the importance of daily studies! We have the opportunity to take 1 hour of personal study. It normally ends up being our 9-10 hour which starts out our morning and I LOVE it! Surprisingly enough, I have seen a difference in the days I get my personal study and the days I don't.

Gods work is truly moving forward! After 4 and a half months, I finally got to go to the temple this morning! It was amazing! We went as all the sisters in the Ontario zones! And it was so good to go yet again!

God puts so many people in your path to help you grow! I have had 4 companions so far and we definitely have had some good days and some difficult ones. But God knows that you are strong and he is giving you those people so you can figure out why! It may be hard at times to see it but they are just like you and beautiful children of a loving heavenly father!

I cannot wait to see what the next 12 months bring and what growth I will see from them!

Mission life truly is crazy! But I am glad I get to experience it!

There are so many other things I have learned but, for now, one more thing I have come to find the importance of is prayer! Prayer is a communication between you and God. You can bring ANYTHING up with him and he is always listening!

Speaking of prayer, I've got a couple people that could use some prayers right now
The Steen's: that they might find comfort
Lilly: that all will be alright and that she may know just how loved she is
Mayvin: that her dads heart may be softened
Maribel: that she may follow her deepest desire
Hallel: that she may know Gods timing always differs
Kenia: that she may follow the promptings of the spirit

If yall could add these people to your prayers, it would be much appreciated! I know that they all could use some comfort at this time. California could also use some prayers. We've got some crazy fires going on and the wind is blowing non stop.

Escritura de la semana...

Alma 34:32

32 For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors.

32 Porque he aquí, esta vida es cuando el hombre debe prepararse para comparecer ante Dios; sí, el día de esta vida es el día en que el hombre debe ejecutar su obra.
