Guau! An email antes mediodia? Ijole! You must think I'm crazy! Maybe i am...

The past couple weeks, we have been having CRAZY wind storms which leads to power outages, lots of palm leaves in the street, tumbleweeds blown into bushes on the sides of the roads, and quite a few totaled vehichles from people not knowing how to stop at stop lights/stop signs. (Luckily, my car is not one of them)

It's also January so literally EVERYONE is sick which has honestly sucked because we had so many lessons planned this week and not even half of them happened because everyone kept canceling.

I have never had to do so many splits in a week. We pretty much did splits every single day this week. It was crazy. Our poor hna Larsen has had these crazy migraines for 2ish weeks or longer but they still schedule lessons so if we dont have lessons for the night, we get to go to Ontario West and teach some lessons with hna Vergara!

Wednesday was a crazy day for Ontario East. Pues, only us hermanas, en verdad. We had President Interviews! That was pretty fun! President Hendrickson is awesome and I even got a blessing from him after my interview! But we all know the reason anyone likes president interviews is to talk to Sister Hendrickson! I love Sister Hendrickson so much! After interviews hna Franklin and I had an interesting lesson with one of our friends who had been taught en el pasado. We learned all about this religion we had NEVER heard of before and it was such a crazy little lesson haha. We really didnt know how to go about the rest of our day haha. Oh and then a fire started later that night! Haha it was awesome

We did a member stopby on Friday and while looking for their house, we walked past a yard with 2 little girls playing together. One of the girls runs up to the fence and starts talking to us. She asked me if hna Franklin was my daughter or my sister... I like how there were only 2 options... anyways. She keeps talking to us and eventually finds out im from Utah and she goes "oh! Utah has snow for Christmas! Our snow is fire." ... i was at a loss for words seems like these kids also make light of these crazy tragedies with jokes too!

WE GOT RAIN!!!! I introduced mi compañeras de cuarto to the game psychiatrist on Saturday evening, and when I was in the room so they could come up with a rule I had to find, I looked outside and noticed the pavement was wet! It was crazy! And then it was still sprinkling yesterday morning! I love the rain! but I will say, I do hate driving in the city when its raining at night! Its literally impossible to see when you're passing oncoming traffic, and they've got the white LEDs that blind you anyways, but now its reflecting off the puddles of water on the road too. Im ready for my country roads again

Yesterday was a good day at church! We have a friend we're teaching who found the church from her boyfriend! They're super cute! Hallel is my favorite! Well, William, the boyfriend, got asked to speak on faith and Hallel, being the awesome person she is, decided she wanted to help him plan his talk! She found conference talks for him, scripture references for him, and just cheered him on the whole way! This is crazy, because almost 4 months ago, she knew almost NOTHING of the church until hna Nicholson and I started teaching her! Also, Williams son, said the closing prayer yesterday and it was so sweet!
