I'll still fight for you, even if we fight all night (semana 30)

"We can make it through to see the morning light. This could be our milestone"

To start... FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS A MI PADRE! ÉL ESTA EL MEJOR PADRE EN EL MUNDO! 🎉🥳

Ya tiempo por los traslados?

Drum roll please.... 🥁🥁🥁 Im staying in Ontatio East! This makes 4 here y no se como me siento... Pero! My adorable STL, Hermana Vergara, who is a native speaker, is my new comp! Im so excited!! She is the cutest and I cant wait to serve with her. Shes not an STL anymore so I wont have to do all the exchanges nor splits, but its gonna be a fun transfer! Were losing our cute canadiense. Shes headed to Temecula :(. Hna Franklin is headed back to Riverside. And Sister Harper is stuck with me for at least another 🫣

It has been some crazy, long couple weeks! Everyone was intimidated by this transfer cuz it was 7 weeks but honestly it flew by super fast haha. But at the same time, it also dragged on and I am super ready for change!

This past transfer we did a little district vs. district zone challenge and my district won. Our reward was we got to pie someone from the other district and poor Sister Bennett was chosen. The zone leaders didnt want the elders to be the ones to pie her so I was the one who had to 🫣😂 She was such a good sport about it! Weve got some awesome missionaries here in the CRM.

Lets see, this week we did a lot of finding!! Our friends have lowkey been ignoring us and its great! Pero esta bien! We did have some awesome lessons this week!

Well, right around the end of Covid, this mission apparently was a pretty big social media mission! Getting referrals left and right from Facebook and Instagram! People can sign up for ads and the missionaries will reach out about whatever peaked your interest in those ads. In the beginning of 2022, a lady filled out a form on one of our ads and was taught on and off by missionaries for 2ish years. Pues, about 3 weeks ago, we were doing gray dot calls, most of the time, these calls are not the most effective use of our time. But we did them anyways. Well one of these calls we did, the lady who answers pretty much just asked us where we had been and told us she needed us back in her life! So what do we do? We set up a return appointment! 3 days after this phone call, we are at her door and she opens it before we can even knock. She welcomes us in and we teach her the restoration. She loves it... is feeling the spirit so strong... and tells us... "i think I'm ready to be baptized!" 🤯 She gives us the date of February 2nd and we plan out how were going to make it happen and we stick to that plan! She is a BUSY mom who truly had this desire. (It reminds me of my other beautiful recent convert!) Pues, Rachel was baptized and confirmed a member of the church yesterday and she was glowing! I am so proud of her!

Ready for another story?

Last transfer while I was in Riverside, Hna Stout and I got this social media referral who filled out the form for English Class where people can come to this free class put on by the church so they can learn English! We start and end the class with prayers and somewhere inbetween, a spiritual thought is shared by us missionaries! We were so excited, so we call this referral up and start asking him all these questions in Spanish... pues, half way through, he goes "actually, can we speak in English? English is a lot easier for me..." Hna Stout and I look at each other shocked. We were so confused why this guy who signed up for English Class was asking us if we could speak in English cuz its easier for him... come to find out, he really just wanted to meet with missionaries! But he couldnt figure out how to do so without signing up for English Class! Hna Stout and I had the wonderful opportunity to start teaching him and then we doubled out of the area and the Mt. Rubidox sisters picked him up! Wonderful Sister Ryan let him know that Hna Stout and I could return if he got baptized this transfer so he set a goal for January 31! They worked so so so hard with him and weren't able do to January 31 but he was able to be baptized and confirmed on February 1! Rodrigo is awesome! Hes such a sweet guy! He really did have that desire to learn more and now here we are!

I am looking forward to more baptisms this transfer! Ojala! Mi compañera nueva es muy emocionado por este traslado y yo tambien!

Escritura de le semana...

2 Nefi 25:26

26 And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.

26 Y hablamos de Cristo, nos regocijamos en Cristo, predicamos de Cristo, profetizamos de Cristo y escribimos según nuestras profecías, para que nuestros hijos sepan a qué fuente han de acudir para la remisión de sus pecados.

As a missionary, I am ALWAYS talking, rejoicing, preaching, and prophesying of Christ! It has been such an amazing and unique experience! It is through our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ whom we receive our remission of sins and of this, I am so grateful!

Okay! Pues, que tengas la mejor semana de su vida, principalmente porque yo lo dije, pero principalmente porque quiere. (Have the most amazing week! Mainly because I said so but mostly because you want to) 🤟❤️
